Alsonex is a drug development company dedicated to developing new treatments for many different kinds of neurodegenerative diseases. The company was founded in 2014 and works hard to maintain a culture of excellence in everything that it does. New treatments are urgently required to help slow the progression of neurodegenerative disease and it remains an area of intensive research within the pharmaceutical industry. Many clinical trials are in progress and from this endeavour our expectation is that in coming years neurodegenerative diseases will become a manageable condition. Ultimately, rapid diagnosis followed by quick access to treatments will slow the disease and improve quality of life for sufferers. New research is increasing our understanding of the factors that drive disease progression and that will lead to new treatment options for the more common neurodegenerative diseases such as Parkinson’s Disease, Alzheimer’s Disease, Huntington’s Disease and Motor Neuron Disease.
